Indian working calendars
Mon–Sat by default, holidays per workspace or per project, and "10 days" always means 10 working days. Monsoon buffers are counted in calendar days and never sit on the critical path.

Payment-gate padlock
Because the schedule lives in the same system as your invoices, a stage that waits on the previous stage’s approval or the client’s RA-bill payment shows a padlock on the bar — with the reason.
The site reports its own progress
Assign a task to a site engineer and it appears in their My Work on the phone with a progress slider — they report the work without being able to move the plan. Undo any drag or link with Ctrl-Z.

The next three weeks as a day grid, plus search, filter by owner or state, sort, fullscreen and a compact density. The client portal shows phase-level progress only.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a real Gantt chart with a critical path, or just a bar view?
A real one. Tasks link finish-to-start, start-to-start or finish-to-finish with lag; Rebaar runs the critical path method (CPM) over the whole project and shows total float per task. The critical chain draws in red and recomputes live as you drag.
Can I import my existing schedule from Excel or MS Project?
From Excel/CSV, yes: phases, tasks, dates, owners and predecessors in MS Project notation (like 3FS+2) are read in, checked row by row, and previewed before anything is written. Direct .mpp (MS Project file) import is not supported — export the sheet to CSV first.
How do working days and holidays work?
Every workspace has a working calendar — Mon–Sat by default — and each project can override it with its own holidays. Durations, lags and float are all counted in working days, so a 10-day task never silently swallows two Sundays. Buffers (like a monsoon buffer) are the exception: they count calendar days on purpose.
What happens when one task slips — do I have to move everything by hand?
No. Move the slipped task and Rebaar previews every dependent task that would shift, with old and new dates. You confirm "move all" or move only this one. The whole cascade writes in one transaction, and Ctrl-Z undoes it.
Can my site engineer update progress without breaking the plan?
Yes — that split is the whole point. Assign a task to a person and it appears in their My Work on the phone with a progress slider and status. They can report the work; only people with edit rights can move dates, links or the plan itself.
What is the payment-gate padlock?
Rebaar’s schedule lives next to your invoices, so a stage can be gated on the previous stage’s approval or its RA-bill payment. Until that clears, the bar shows a padlock with the reason. With gating set to block, the system refuses to start the stage — an Owner or PM can override with a written reason, and the override lands in the audit log.
Does the client see the schedule?
The client portal shows phase-level progress only — never your float, your internal task names, or which chain is critical. You control what is shared.
Which plan includes the schedule?
The Gantt schedule is on the Growth and Scale plans (and the 14-day trial). Starter keeps a simple phase list — name, dates and progress per phase.
Can two planners work on the schedule at the same time?
Yes. Every write carries the version it expects, so two people dragging the same task never silently overwrite each other — the second one is told the row changed and sees the latest. Changes stream to every open chart live.
